We’ve added three major AI-driven features that completely change how you handle media in WordPress.

AI Image Upscaling

Low-resolution images can ruin a beautiful website design, especially on modern retina displays.

With our new AI Image Upscale, you can now take smaller images and breathe new life into them.

Automatically upscale images by 2x, 3x, or 4x without losing quality. Just go to Media > Library, click the image you want to upscale, and select the AI Image Upscale button underneath it.

AI Background Removal

Need product photos that pop? Or clean assets for a design layout?

Remove the background from any image. Similar to upscaling, just navigate to Media > Library, open the image you want to edit, and choose the AI Background Removal option.

AI Image Titles

In version 6.3, we introduced AI image SEO capabilities. Now, we’ve update the SEO suite so you can now generat image titles using AI.

By automating this, you make sure that every single attribute of your image is optimized for search engines, giving you better visibility with zero extra effort.

Here’s a quick preview: the image named image-7 in our Media Library shows a snow-covered mountain peak. The AI analyzed it, filled in the ALT text, caption, description, and assigned a clearer image title based on what it detected in the scene, which helps boost the image’s SEO visibility.

Redesigned bulk experience

Managing a large media library shouldn’t feel like a chore. That’s why we’ve reworked the bulk processing interface a bit.

The new design is cleaner and easier to navigate, making it simple to understand exactly what is happening with your optimization queue.

We’ve also added bulk optimization by date interval. You can now run bulk tasks on a specific date range, giving you precision over which images get optimized.
