How to use it? #
Using ShortPixel Image Optimizer:
- Open your Media Library in List View.
- Click the image you want to edit.
- Select AI Background Removal, choose your settings, preview, and save.
Using the Online Optimizer on ShortPixel.com:
- Open Settings and enable Remove background.
- Upload your image.
Your image will be optimized and the background removed automatically.
How does the consumption work? #
The background removal tool is available on all plans, including one-time, Unlimited, and Unlimited AI, at no extra cost. As a general rule, 1 credit = 1 optimized image.
For example, optimizing an image (with or without background removal) uses 1 credit. Optimizing an image and generating WebP or AVIF versions uses 3 credits.
