How to tell if the affiliate system is working correctly

In case you are starting to set up your ShortPixel affiliate links, there's an easy way to tell if it's working correctly.

1) Make sure you clear all the cookies while on shortpixel.com

2) Click on your own affiliate link and see how the affiliate code is correctly set (for privacy reasons, we've obfuscated the code below)

3) Sign up with a test account: https://shortpixel.com/free-sign-up

4) Log into your main account and check the Affiliate Stats:

As you can see, a new lead has been registered.

Please note that if you send the affiliate link to a user that already has an account at ShortPixel, they will not be counted as a new lead; the user clicking on your link must not have been previously registered at ShortPixel.
