How to request a VAT refund

For payments made through our payments processor Paddle, you have the option to enter a VAT ID at the timer of purchase, which will exempt the purchase from sales tax.

If you are registered for VAT and missed the field to enter your VAT code, you can change this after purchase: send an email to help@paddle.com with your VAT code and address to update the invoice. Once Paddle has validated the VAT number, the refund will be processed immediately. It usually takes 3-5 business days (depending on your bank) for it to appear in your account.

If you would like to update your billing information yourself (including the VAT code), please access the invoice download link in your Paddle account and add your information into billing form. After completing the form, it will take a few days for Paddle to refund the VAT.
