“Too many redirects” when using Google Drive, why is that?

If you connect to shortpixel.com, go to the Google Drive tool, and the browser shows a “Too many redirects” error like above, please do the following:

  1. Go to the Security section of your Google Account.
  2. Under “Third-party apps with account access”, select Manage third-party access.
  3. Select the app ShortPixel GD optimization.
  4. Select Remove Access.
  5. Try again connecting your Google Drive account to ShortPixel.
