If you moved your website from domain1
to domain2
, it is possible that the image paths still point to the first domain instead of the second and are no longer displayed, even though they are physically present on your server.
To check if this is the case, inspect your website by right-clicking anywhere on the page and selecting Inspect (or pressing ⌘ Cmd + ⌥ Option + C
on macOS or CTRL + SHIFT + C
on Windows). Then, navigate to Network > Img, select a sample image from the list, and click to view the Headers.
If the Request URL points to your old domain, fortunately, you can use a plugin like Better Search Replace to perform a search and replace in the database to make everything work correctly.
