What is a credit?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It depends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you use our credits to store your images or resources in our CDN using ShortPixel Adaptive Images (SPAI)<\/a>, Autoptimize or our Adaptive Images API<\/a>, then 1 credit is equivalent to 5 MB of CDN traffic<\/strong>. Here’s how SPAI counts the credits<\/a>, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you use one of our other products, e.g. ShortPixel Image Optimizer (SPIO)<\/a> or our Archive Optimizer<\/a>, 1 credit = 1 image<\/strong>. Here’s how SPIO counts the credits<\/a>, for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do I have to pay monthly or once?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We offer\u00a0both options. With the Unlimited plan<\/a>, you can pay monthly (or annually) and have an unlimited pool of credits as well as a fixed CDN quota per month. However, one-time credits<\/a> never expire and allow you to control exactly how much and when you spend your money. In what order are the credits used?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The unlimited credits are always used first.<\/strong> If you are using our CDN services and you exhaust the 500 GB of monthly CDN traffic quota, the one-time credits, if available, will be used. That means if you have both a regular Unlimited plan and some one-time credits, the one-time credits will only be used when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
