In order to optimize your newly added Dropbox images with ShortPixel, you must first click here to receive an invitation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you receive the invitation and log in to your Zapier account, you can create the integration as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select the Dropbox<\/strong> App and choose the “New File in Folder<\/strong>” Event:
    <\/figure><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  2. Log in to your Dropbox account: <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  3. Select the folder where your images are located and select “No<\/strong>” under “Include File Contents?”:<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  4. Test your trigger:
    <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  5. Click on the “+<\/strong>” icon in the middle of steps 1 and 2:
    <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  6. Select “Filter<\/strong>” and add the following fields:
    <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  7. Proceed to the next step.\u00a0Make sure you see the ShortPixel<\/strong>\u00a0app and Event as in the following image and continue:<\/p>\"\"<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  8. Log in to ShortPixel, where you will need to enter your API key:
    <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  9. Put ShortPixel to work! Choose the settings you want:
    <\/figure>Under “File”, select “Direct Media Link<\/strong>“, and you can set the rest of the options as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Send a test to ShortPixel, and everything should look fine:

  11. It’s time to upload the file back to Dropbox. To do this, add a final step to your Zap. Select the\u00a0Dropbox<\/strong> app\u00a0<\/strong>and the “Upload File<\/strong>” Event:

  12. Select your Dropbox account.<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  13. In the “Customize File” section, fill in the fields with the following parameters:
    – File: use the return value “File: (Exists but not shown)<\/strong>“.
    – Overwrite: “Yes<\/strong>“.
    – Specifiy File Name: Use “File Name<\/strong>“.
    – Specify File Extension: Use “File Ext<\/strong>“.
    <\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  14. Test your Zap and that’s it!<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Now you can add files to your Dropbox folder and they will be optimized with ShortPixel! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
