In this short article, we will show you how to compress those images too, using <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/shortpixel-image-optimiser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ShortPixel image optimization plugin<\/a>. <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-6-0\">We took some beautiful images from <a href=\"https:\/\/unsplash.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unsplash<\/a> and put them in a custom folder called <em>extra<\/em>. <\/span><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-7-0\">These images are not visible in Media Library, they are not <\/span><\/span><span class=\"adverb\"><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-8-0\">automatically<\/span><\/span><span class=\"hardreadability\"><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-9-0\"> optimized on upload, and they are not accessible to our Bulk processor<\/span><\/span><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-10-0\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-10-0\">Fortunately,\u00a0 you could tell <a href=\"https:\/\/ShortPixel.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ShortPixel<\/a> to look for images in other folders than Media Library. For this, you need to go to <em>Settings \/ ShortPixel<\/em>, and click on <em>Advanced<\/em> tab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-10-0\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1451\" src=\"https:\/\/shortpixel.com/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/additional-media-folders.png\" alt=\"Additional media folders\" width=\"610\" height=\"148\" title=\"\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span class=\"complexword\">Additional<\/span><\/em><span data-offset-key=\"vrbl-12-0\"><em> media folders<\/em> field will do the trick. Click <em>Select<\/em> button and choose your folder with images.
